programming [2012/03/30 01:32] (current)
Line 1: Line 1:
+====== Programmers and Web designers. Rewrite to include JAVA and other platforms as well ======
+===== Application design and programming. =====
+We are currently turning the project source code into open source - We intend to pursue this strategy agressively as we have come to the conclusion that this is the right avenue for our project.

+Our best bid for further development along these lines is using the open source XBasic project, for writing the programs in native Linux and Windows versions.
 +
+If you are able and willing to contribute in this department look up xbasic.org for your copy of XBasic and get back to us when you got a reasonable grasp of it.
 +
+If you are programming in other languages than the mentioned and have the possibility to legally distribute code as well as compiled versions of products that may be produced, you are also welcome to contact us. Please notice that we are developing under a BSD style license which we consider the most liberal open source license.
 +
+===== Web design and programming. =====
+As the project grows and the different language versions combined with all the other aspects of The Global Ability Initiative makes the project grow into an increasingly complex entity, we have come to a point where there is a need for volunteers to help maintain our site and develop new aspects of it.
 +
+The type of Web designers we need, are the men and women of steel that are able to code with nothing more than a ASCII editor while still maintaining the ability to make stunning, practical and usable web pages... OK if you must use a graphic package for your pictures then go ahead ;-)
 +
+Please visit the development section of our site to see our different projects.
 +
+Make sure you study and comply with the GCA before volunteering your time and effort.
 +
 +Thank You!
